Himanshu Sharma is a Cloud Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) with over 4 years of experience in ETL, data warehousing, and data migration projects. He is a PSM-1 certified professional who is passionate about data storytelling and finding trends in data. Himanshu has worked closely with the business intelligence team and helped them in developing business strategies by providing transformed data through different data marts. He was an integral part of setting up the Hadoop ecosystem for the data warehouse and setting up the data pipeline from varied data stores using queuing technologies to the warehouse. Apart from his industrial exposure, Himanshu has explored his interest in NLP, Data Visualization, and Game development using C graphics. He has developed a few projects of his own like a personal virtual assistant using Google Assistant libraries, Virtual Casino Royale game using C graphics, and a web-based visualization using D3.js, R, python to see different trends in the movie industry to support decision-making. Himanshu is a data management and analysis expert who has excellent communication skills and knows how to collaborate with different teams. Himanshu is well-versed with team management, JIRA, Confluence, Github, and how to work in a company following the agile approach. He has worked as a Data Engineer at IAG and Dentsu before joining Amazon. Himanshu holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NMIMS.
