Himanshu Singh is a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for working on complex projects that require an in-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures. He is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science in 2018. Currently, Himanshu is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Myntra, where he is part of the Data Platform team. He is responsible for developing a self-serve event agnostic analytics platform that handles over a billion events a day. The platform analyzes and processes massive volumes of data on Azure and provides useful insights. Prior to joining Myntra, Himanshu worked as a Software Engineer at Citi India, where he developed a RESTful Web Service using Spring and Spring Boot. The service exposed various endpoints used by the Equity Risk Management System for transactions such as orders/trades within Equity Swaps lifecycle. He also has experience in designing, developing, and implementing software over Agile methodology and working of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Docker, and AWS ECS. Himanshu's technical expertise includes Spring, CI/CD, Web, AWS, Azure, ECS, NLP, Docker, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Search, Microservices, P2P, Mobile, Backend, Java, and Android. He is a smart worker who believes in working smarter rather than harder. In addition to his professional experience, Himanshu has been recognized as a finalist in the D10X Hackathon for Macro Trend Analysis. He developed a prototype that predicted market movement by analyzing floating news in the market using NLP techniques to process data and LSTM to signify the extent of directional movement.
