Himanshu Upadhyay is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for emerging technologies and futuristic advancements. With over 5 years of relevant experience, he is currently working at Sanimed International Impex, where he is responsible for implementing state-of-the-art approaches to analyze next-generation genomic sequencing and clinical data to support diagnostic, therapeutic, and outcome research studies. Himanshu is also an expert in study design and executing data analyses for multiple research studies across a broad range of health conditions. In addition to this, Himanshu is skilled in applying novel approaches to diverse data types, such as genetics, transcriptomics, and proteomics, to identify novel therapeutic mechanisms, patient populations, and biomarkers in multiple disease indications, including hepatology, nephrology, respiratory, and benign hematology diseases. He has also developed dashboards for doctors to analyze the risk of a disease based on genome profiling and patient data. Prior to his current role, Himanshu co-founded Renaissance, where he developed a website that predicts the risk of Acute Kidney Injury using medical data for patients undergoing operations. He also worked as an Engineering Trainee at Facebook AI, where he underwent training and certification for Pytorch as part of the Facebook AI camp jointly conducted by the UAE National Program for Artificial Intelligence and Facebook. Himanshu holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, which he completed in 2018. He is skilled in a range of technologies, including ML, Research Scientist, NLP, Python, Javascript, Flask, AI, and Pytorch.
