Himanshu Vaidya is a thought leader and senior director of engineering with over 11 years of relevant experience. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Quantum AI and Astrophysics and is a technology evangelist for Big Data. Himanshu is passionate about driving digital and cognitive revolution through next-generation products and processes. Himanshu has been involved in internationally recognized data and code visualization related research and development work for innovative software product development. He is also experienced in AI, ML, and DL related software development initiatives and delivery. Himanshu has worked with reputed MNC’s Global R&D Centers in the Information Science & Management space, viz. Informatics and Robotics for High Throughput Research workflow integration. Himanshu has significant experience and understanding of advanced science and technology domains, systems, and workflows - product and process modeling, simulation, Laboratory Automation, LIMS Data Mining, SDLC. He has worked on a wide spectrum of scientific and commercial data, including ERP data, satellite data, telescope data, astrophysical data, and data from scientific instruments in geophysics, chemistry, and material science. Himanshu is a strong Microsoft technology expert, including Azure. He has worked on AI, ML, Informatics support for scientific research and development, analytics and visualization technologies, mathematical modeling and simulation, DSP, and information management. He is also knowledgeable in software architecture and design, research data mining and modeling, materials modeling, image and signal processing/analysis, and statistical methods for scientific data analysis. Himanshu has worked with companies like Altimetrik as an Engineering Leader (Data and AI) and Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology as a Member of Industrial Advisory Board and Visiting Faculty. He is currently a Professional Fellow Member of All India Council for Robotics and Automation. Himanshu holds a PhD in Quantum Computing + Artificial Intelligence applied for Astrophysics & Space Sciences from Christ University, Joint Certification in AI and Quantum Computing from IISc + QPiAI, an M.Sc. in Space Sciences - Applied Physics Research (Specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics) from the Department of Space Sciences, University of Pune, a PG Diploma in Advanced Computing from the Center for Development in Advanced Computing, Ministry of HRD, India, and a B.C.S. in Computer Science from Sir Parashurambhau College - India.
