Himesh Kothari is an experienced SRE at Schlumberger with a strong background in DevOps, Cloud, and Security. He is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur where he completed his Integrated Master of Science in Exploration Geophysics. Currently, Himesh holds the position of Commercialization Geophysicist at Geophysics Technology Center (GTC), Schlumberger. In this role, he is involved in Geophysical validation and verification of various functionalities which WesternGeco's proprietary software's and DELFI Web Application's offers through regression and automated end-to-end testing. Prior to this, Himesh has worked as a Student Mentor at Student Welfare Group, IIT Kharagpur, where he helped the First year students to bring a balance in their Academics and Extracurricular life. He was also elected as the 'Student mentor' for the academic session 2017-18 to motivate and guide the freshmen of his Department and help them equipped with the lifestyle in the campus. Furthermore, Himesh has also worked as an Executive Coordinator at Technology Transfer Group, IIT Kharagpur. During his tenure, he designed and implemented the first-ever "Undergraduate Research Portal" of IIT Kharagpur, organized the "Intellectual Property Workshop - 2017" across the campus, initiated "PATENT DRIVE 2016" across the IIT campus, and represented IIT Kharagpur in Knowledgexpo at 22nd International Engineering and Technology Fair (IETF) – 2017 highlighting various technologies and Mega Projects developed at IIT Kharagpur and promoting technology transfer to subtle industries. Himesh has a strong technical background in SRE, DevOps, test, Web, and QA. He has relevant experience of 4.20 years and holds a degree in 10+2 qualified from Christu Jyoti Convent Senior Secondary School, Ujjain (M.P).
