Himsindhu Biswas is a recent graduate from IIT Kharagpur with 1.5 years of experience as a Data Analyst. He is currently working at Jar, a fintech startup, where he has been responsible for mining and extracting SMS data for onboarding and existing users to understand their behavior in app-usage to enhance activation and retention. Using his skills in Python, Pandas, MySQL, and Tableau, Himsindhu has built models that could show the current bank balance of a user based on their different bank accounts with overall 90% accuracy, predict the user category as ideal or non-ideal with an accuracy of 70%, and identify the drop-off zone in KYC Flow for micro loan lending feature during the initial phase of live. Prior to joining Jar, Himsindhu worked at Unacademy, India's largest online educating platform, where he maintained and analyzed DoD MoM views for 124 channels, built and maintained MIS Report for 20+ categories including major KPIs, and worked intensively over educator’s incentives project to roll out incentives based on their views, contractual hours, revenue produced. Before that, he was a Data Scientist at Wakefit, where he performed EDA for the growth team to find out key metrics like bounce rate, identified the review page as the most frequently visited page for order placing, and created a table in Amazon Redshift database to push the data on which EDA was done and made it automated by scheduling cronjob on the script. Himsindhu's education background includes a Dual Degree in Mining Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is skilled in tools like MS-Excel, Google Sheets, Python(Pandas), Tableau, MySQL, and has experience in using Random Forest, Python, Pandas, MySQL, and Data Scientist. He loves to find Business solutions with data-driven techniques and has relevant experience of 2.18 years.
