Hinesh Gohel is an experienced R&D Firmware Engineer with expertise in designing and developing firmware for controllers and processors. With over 5 years of experience working in the defense, aero-systems, automobile, and industrial domains, he has worked on various projects related to firmware design and development for different products. Hinesh is well-versed in C, C++, VLSI, Verilog, and data structures. He also has working knowledge of Python, Linux-Kernel, RTOS, OS internals with device driver using C, ARM and other micro-controllers, processors, FPGA's, and communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, RS485, and MODBUS. He has experience working on 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit micro-controllers, TI-DaVINCI processor, and ST Microelectronics - STM32F2xx and STM32F4xx (ARM Cortex-M3 core). Hinesh has also worked on embedded Linux (DVSDK's and Vanilla Kernel) and RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX) and has expertise in GNU cross-compilation tools, firmware designing, and device drivers. He also has knowledge of Shell, Perl, Verilog, and MATLAB. Currently working as a Software Engineer at einfochips, Hinesh has handled programming of 16-bit and 32-bit controllers using C over Eclipse IDE. He has also worked on the integration of various sensors using on-board communication protocols and camera for automotive surveillance systems on controller board and connecting it with the processor board running on Embedded Linux (DVSDK). He has closely worked with the hardware team for designing new boards as per the firmware requirements of the client. In his past roles, Hinesh has worked as a Firmware Engineer at a Mumbai-based start-up, where he worked on a project based on IoT and had knowledge of integrating different controllers. He has also worked as an Embedded Software Developer at a research and development establishment, where he programmed on ARM-7 to integrate various sensors using communication protocols. Hinesh holds a PG Diploma in Electronics from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maharaja College of Engineering, Udaipur.
