Hiranyey Gajbhiye is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in the industry. Currently working at Basis, a fintech startup, Hiranyey leads the android team and has developed and released the Basis android app with over 100K downloads and a 4.4 rating. He has implemented major features like Health insurance, Credit card, User journeys and Digital Gold which brings 100% of revenue to the company. Hiranyey has also reduced the app crashes faced by users from 7% to under 1% of all engagement and decreased the app size by 40% by upgrading libraries, removing unused code and other strategies. He is proficient in writing all new code in Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and all state-of-the-art libraries. Prior to his current role, Hiranyey worked at Tibco as an Associate Member of Technical Staff. He designed, developed and maintained Design Time Layer for TIBCO BusinessWorks and analyzed and upgraded BusinessWorks to run on OpenJDK 11 which reduced licensing expenses up to 1 Million $ annually for their biggest customers. Hiranyey also built a templating engine and extensible custom icon support which facilitated customers by accelerating complex processes. Hiranyey also fixed supercritical deadlocks in the product using JVisualVM. As an Intern at Neptune Ubicom, Hiranyey used Spring, Hibernate, Docker, Kafka, Angular on a daily basis and used TDD for development of the project. He made the meeting room booking system as an internal tool. Hiranyey holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. He also completed his 12th grade from Kendriya Vidyalaya Mankhurd and his 10th grade from Prodigy Public School.
