Hiren Barad is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for exploring value-based social design and quality-assuring hiring. With over 7 years of relevant experience, he has a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Hiren is skilled in automation testing with Selenium Web Driver and has a keen interest in Raspberry Pi, Python and Blockchains. Currently, Hiren is working as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at testgorilla. In his previous role at Blackhawk, he played a pivotal role in planning the automation strategy by automating features based on their priorities. He identified and automated test cases based on features and formed guidelines for Test Management. Hiren was responsible for drafting test cases for core services and executing them on AWS. He managed release notes and test metrics such as Drafted, Executed and Automated test cases. He also helped deliver allure report links from scheduled API and UI test jobs from Jenkins via mail. Before joining Blackhawk, Hiren worked as a Software Developer at Technicolor. He investigated open source tools like Xnee, ldtp2, dogtail to automate GUI test cases and to use them across teams. He worked on creating a CI/CD pipeline from standalone GIT repository and Jenkins. He designed and implemented a Performance web app to log performance-related data and showcase it to stakeholders. Hiren analyzed previous defect patterns to create test workflows around them. Hiren holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from Dharmsihn Desai University and completed his High School education from Plazma International School. His tech stack includes QA, test, Software Engineering, AWS, Selenium, Web, Python, Jenkins, UI, and CI/CD.
