Hiren Barai is an experienced professional with over 8 years of experience in ideating, developing, and scaling digital products for organizations. He currently serves as the Head of Partnerships & HR at Commutatus, where he leads the partnerships team in identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating proposals, negotiating partnerships, and onboarding partners to the project management team. He also works on HR initiatives to develop the skill set of employees and align them with the organizational value system. Hiren comes from a business family and has a natural talent for developing key partnerships. He gained global exposure and leadership qualities while working at AIESEC, an international youth-run organization. He has leveraged his experience to ensure that operations at Commutatus run seamlessly and in a sustainable manner. Commutatus is passionate about helping young businesses build impactful digital products, from digitalizing offline businesses to building tools to optimize processes. They double up as a CTO/tech-team for businesses and have helped over 95 organizations build digital products that have had a positive impact on their business. Hiren's past experience includes working as a Team Leader at AIESEC in Chennai, where he managed global connections and sales for the Chennai Local Chapter and facilitated student exchange programs. He also served as the Organizing Committee President, where he was responsible for the management and implementation of recruitment and induction of new members to the committee. Hiren holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from SRM University and completed his schooling in Physics from St. Jude's Public School and Junior College. He has relevant experience as a Research Scientist and Senior Software Engineer.
