Prior to Trafigura, Hitesh worked as a Data Platform Engineer at Jupiter, where he was part of the Data Platform and Analytics team. He used Spark 3 with native Kubernetes as a master running on an EKS cluster and dynamic DAGs on Airflow to enable end-users to create and schedule complex ETL jobs without writing code. Hitesh managed the overall data flow within the platform, data lineage, and monitoring. Hitesh's previous experience also includes working as a Manager at Morgan Stanley, where he helped applications migrate to big data technologies. He managed and optimized solutions for Analytics and Search for multiple teams and use-cases within the department. In addition to his professional experience, Hitesh is a gaming enthusiast and likes to read fiction novels.
