Hitesh Lalwani is a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as an SDE II - Full Stack at Amazon US, where he is responsible for the architecture design and development of Automotive’s data propagation system to power Automotive’s Checkfit Widget on the Product detail page and search indexing. Hitesh has also designed and developed Automotive’s Data Compliance System, which is regionalized and auto-scalable on AWS, to comply with the GDPR laws. Under his leadership, the SLA of the Automotive data deletion requests from the customer was improved from more than 15 days to an average of 1.5 days. Hitesh is a proactive mentor who has mentored team members to build Vehicles Data Ingestion Approval website using React with Typescript. He has also designed and developed OEM data ingestion system which processes data from various data sources using Spark on AWS EMR and ingests the data into the AWS Neptune Graph database. This improved the Automotive Parts to Vehicles fitment correctness by 40% which decreased the return orders. Before joining Amazon, Hitesh worked as a Senior Software Engineer - Android at Infoedge where he designed and developed the new Jeevansathi.com Android Application using MVP architecture. He had complete ownership of the Home Page, Profile Detail, Search, and Login screens. The Google Playstore ratings reached a high of 4.4 within a month after the staged roll-out of the application. Hitesh also implemented “Login via Facebook” in Jeevansathi.com Android application. Hitesh has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He is highly skilled in Software Engineering, AWS, Android, Search, Spark, Typescript, and UI.
