Hitesh Mehra is an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with 2+ years of experience in building custom AI solutions for various industrial problems. He has a keen interest in Computer Vision, NLP, and Time Series Forecasting. Hitesh holds a Masters and Bachelors Dual Degree in Agricultural and Food Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Hitesh has served for 3 years as a part of the organizing team of Kshitij, Asia’s Largest Techno-Management Fest, where he started his journey as a volunteer and eventually became the Core Team Head, Sponsorship & Design Coordinator. He developed marketing and branding strategies for sponsors, including Forbes500 names like Boeing, HP, Samsung, Airbus, SAP Labs. Currently, Hitesh is working with Quantiphi as a Machine Learning Engineer. He has worked on various projects, including Automated Media Clips Metadata Generation, Duplicate Video Content Identification, Customized Jersey Number based Football Player Tracking, and Automated Subtitle Synchronization. He has designed and implemented various models for object detection, image classification, and OCR. He has also worked on parallel instances creation and destruction deployment architecture for automated delivery. In the past, Hitesh has worked as a Data Science Intern at Iris Software Inc. and as a Research Analyst Intern at Hvantage Technologies. At Iris Software Inc., he worked on Document Clustering using Text Mining Techniques and clustering algorithms and Forecasting of Implied Volatility and Indian VIX data using Time Series Models. At Hvantage Technologies, he formulated working strategies and frameworks for the firm's entry into the sectors of Insurance and CPG for a US-based market.
