Hitesh Patel is a seasoned Security Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the Cyber Security domain. Currently working at Amazon, he has hands-on experience in AWS cloud security, web application security testing (black box, gray box, white box), and mobile application security testing (Android, iOS, KaiOS, J2EE, and Windows, etc.). Hitesh is also well-versed in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, threat modeling & threat analysis, network architecture review, network infrastructure audit, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) security assessment, secure code review, DDOS testing using scripts, and API (Rest & Soap) security testing using tools such as Postman, SOAP, and CURL. As a Bug-Bounty and Bug Hunter, Hitesh has extensive experience as both a Red Teamer and a Blue Teamer. In his current role, he is responsible for application security assessment/audit, secure code review, security automation, and AWS security assessment. Previously, he worked at Dream11 as a Senior Security Engineer and Associate - Application Security Architect, where he was responsible for leading application security (web/mobile application security), performing security assessments on new features before going live, handling bug bounty programs, and working with third-party auditors to seamlessly audit apps and infrastructure. He also developed automation frameworks for all security domains (detection, protection, and monitoring) and mentored team members to help them grow within the organization. Hitesh holds a BCA degree in Computer Science from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, and has completed his H.S.C and S.S.C from Maharashtra Board. He has a diverse tech stack that includes AWS, mobile and web infrastructure, Android, iOS, and senior software engineering.
