HJ Jayakrishnan is a seasoned Modem Software Engineer with over seven years of relevant experience in the field. He currently works as a Senior Modem Software Engineer at Qualcomm, San Diego, where he is a part of the 5G RF software team. HJ's expertise lies in software engineering, research, testing, and integration. He has worked on several projects throughout his career, including the development of the Air Deployable Micro Buoy (ADMB), which profiles upper ocean salinity, temperature, and pressure. He designed a reusable bare metal firmware driver for the daisy-chained temperature, pressure, and salinity sensors and performed testing and system integration to support GPS localization and telemetry through Iridium and Xbee links. HJ's educational background includes a graduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado Center for Astrodynamics Research. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Barton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram, and a diploma in Computer Science from Saraswathi Vidyalaya.
