Hrishikesh Kakkad is an MS in Computer Science student at the University at Buffalo, expected to graduate in Fall 2022, actively seeking Summer '23 SDE internships. He is a Software Engineer with over 3 years of relevant experience in building Full-Stack Web Applications using MERN stack technologies. Hrishikesh has a deep understanding of the impact and benefits of using AWS Cloud and is well-versed in AWS Solutions Architect level tools for software development, especially those that complement NodeJS and Express. Hrishikesh is passionate about keeping himself updated with new technologies and strives to achieve considerable mastery over TypeScript. He has recently started exploring serverless stack that various CSPs provide, especially AWS Lambda, API gateways, and DynamoDB as a part of his AWS Developer Associate certification. Hrishikesh holds an AWS Solutions Architect certification, which has helped him truly understand the essence of architecting Highly Available, Fault Tolerant, Scalable, and Secure systems on the AWS cloud. In his current role as a Software Engineer - Backend at onecard, Hrishikesh is building OneConsole for partner banks. Previously, he has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at hyperverge inc., where he designed and developed a Full-Stack application that enabled QC process for >1M production results of the HyperVerge DL models in the Vietnam Project using TypeScript, React, MongoDB, and NodeJS. He has also integrated Face quality checker - microservice in Vietnam Project and wrote comprehensive health checks for downstream microservice dependencies that helped enable Application Load-balancers to understand the overall status of the Orion application. Hrishikesh has presented documentation relating to wise infrastructure decisions and pre-warmed the same using IaC - Terraform. Hrishikesh has a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jain University, where he graduated in 2020. He is well-versed in AWS, Software Engineering, Backend, Senior Software Engineering, NodeJS, TypeScript, Microservices, Web, Terraform, Deep Learning, test, MongoDB, and infra. In the short term, Hrishikesh's goals are to become a really good engineer with sound knowledge of design principles, and in the long term, he aims to put the experience he gained into a customer-facing role with tech involved - a Solutions Architect. Hrishikesh is open to discussing AWS best practices and learning from others in the field.
