Hristina Popova is a highly skilled Software Engineer II with over 16 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Microsoft, she is responsible for the configuration and setup of all authentication/authorization logic for the Azure Bot Service (ABS). Hristina has also successfully collaborated to deploy ABS in a new government environment, opening up a new set of customers. She enabled upgrading the driver required for a database provider, allowing Power BI to upgrade to a new driver version to mitigate breaking changes from a partner. Hristina created and maintained alerts for Publish and Refresh areas, resulting in early detection of issues before they reached customers. She shared her learnings to improve team efficiency, summarizing on-call week incidents, documenting deploying Power BI Azure cluster, presenting a deep dive on deployment, and giving an overview of alerting.
