Hrithik Jha is a software engineer with a passion for exploring the intersection of web infrastructure and interdisciplinary machine learning. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Yelp, where he has implemented a deep learning model to detect DNS Tunneling in encrypted environments. He has also developed a server and client to emulate tunneling and collect data. Prior to joining Yelp, Hrithik worked as a Research Intern at Deakin University, where he worked with Prof. Li to implement a DNS tunneling detection model. He also developed a network environment for simulation and data collection. His work was presented in ICSC '21. Hrithik has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at 100ms, where he worked on a video-calling SDK with improvements to client chat rooms using React and WebRTC. He used Go to work on RTC servers. Hrithik completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology in 2021. He also holds a Senior Secondary degree in Science from Delhi Public School, Navi Mumbai. Hrithik's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Web Infrastructure, and Research Science. He has 1.78 years of relevant experience in the field.
