Htin Linn Aung is a Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in building scalable systems and a passion for UX. He believes in data-driven human-centered design and strives to create products with the right balance of engineering and aesthetics. Htin has a strong background in distributed systems, API design, data modeling, testing, data structures, and algorithms. He is an active contributor to open source tools and is always looking for new and exciting opportunities to learn and grow. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Google, Htin has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Capital RX and a Lead Software Engineer at Open Source. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Queens College and an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering from LaGuardia Community College. Htin has also completed an Advanced Software Engineering program from Codesmith and a Full-Stack Web Development program from NYC Tech Talent Pipeline. He has also received a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship from Capital One Technology Entrepreneurship Program. Htin's current tech stacks involve TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, React, Redux, Python, Flask, Jest, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS. He is always looking for opportunities to connect with others and learn from them. Htin is an avid rock-climber and a proud dad of a Japanese-Spitz mix rescue and 5 hamsters. He likes to travel, draw, and take photographs. Htin believes in three essential things to master anything in life: curiosity, passion, and community.
