Hunny Kathuria is a highly skilled Hadoop Developer with over 7 years of experience in the field. Currently employed at UST, he is responsible for writing HIVE SQL scripts for data transformations as per business logic. Hunny is also working as a software engineer to perform POC's and production implementation with clients, getting on board with clients for use case understanding, and analyzing raw data and KPIs for dashboards/extracts. He is proficient in Hadoop, Hive/SQL, and Spark, and has a beginner-level knowledge of Cloud Environments such as AWS and GCP. Prior to his current role, Hunny worked as a Software Engineer at Kyvos Insights, where he interacted with customers to understand their requirements, business understanding, and use cases, and bridged the gap between the data provided by customers and data modeling to fulfill customer's Tableau/Cognos/Extracts. He has also worked at Aon as a Hadoop Hive SQL ETL Data warehousing specialist, responsible for writing Hive SQL scripts for data transformations as per business logic. Hunny holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Government Engineering College Ajmer and completed his 12th from Mamta Modern Sr. Sec. School, Vikas Puri, Delhi.
