Hyun Kim is a highly accomplished CEO and Co-Founder of Superb AI (YC W19), a company that specializes in building machine learning data platforms. With over 7 years of relevant experience in the field, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the tech industry. Hyun holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Robotics, AI) from Brown University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering; Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. He has also completed his YC W19 from Y Combinator. Prior to founding Superb AI, Hyun worked as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at SK T-Brain, where he conducted research in computer vision and unsupervised learning. He was also the PM for self-driving and game AI applications. He has published a paper titled "Learning to discover cross-domain relations with generative adversarial networks" in the Proceedings of the 34th International Conference on Machine Learning, 2017. Hyun has also worked as a Robotics Team Lead at Amazon Robotics Challenge, where he led Team Duke & Motion Planning in the 2016 challenge held in Leipzig, Germany.
