Hyun Paik is a highly experienced IT engineering professional with over 15 years of experience in the field. Currently, he serves as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Qualcomm and has been working in the Core BSP Apps team for the last 11 years. He supports various customer projects that use QCT Snapdragon/Gobi processors to be implemented and launched in the market, including smart phones, IoT, and vehicles. Hyun has a strong background in software design for embedded systems, and his experience spans from conceptualization to design, code, integration, test, and product launch. He has special experience in leading IoT products on planning/designing/development for government-funding national defense projects. He also has marketing and product planning experience in Samsung Electronics Company in Korea and has achieved an enterprise mindset in a startup company in Silicon Valley. Hyun is Summa cum laude in college for both majors: Electrical Engineering and Business. He has expertise in designing and developing common software integration, ARM architecture system stability, interface, and architecture such as PCIe, High-speed USB, HSIC, SSIC, SPI/SDIO/I2C bus controls on various OS platforms, including Android, Windows Mobile, and iOS. He has also worked with state-of-the-art all QC chipsets such as QSC 6270, MSM6246/6290, 6800, 7200,7200A, 7230, 8250/8650, MDM9K/9x15/9x25/9x35/9x45/9x55/9x65/SMD845/SMD855 and Snapdragon series. He has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information System, Data Mining, Neural Network, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
