Héricles Emanuel is a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer with a passion for music and art. He has a strong background in frontend development and has found a way to combine his interests with his work. As an OpenSource enthusiast, Héricles has contributed to various projects from organizations like OpenMined and Chakra UI. Currently, he is working at Nuveo, where he is empowering the world through AI solutions. Héricles has a diverse set of skills, including Python, JavaScript, Go, React, and CSS. In the past, Héricles has worked as a Core Developer at OpenMined, where he contributed to the development of PyGrid, a platform that facilitates privacy-preserving research happening over a private and distributed dataset. He was also a UCSF-OpenMined Fellow, an open-source development grant sponsored by the University of California San Francisco. In this role, he focused on bringing data-centric federated learning with differential privacy budgeting to PyGrid and also the ability to be controlled via a user interface, allowing for a more granular permissioning system at both the user level and the tensor level. Héricles holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, where he graduated in 2021. He also has a Nanodegree in Hybrid Cloud Engineering from Udacity, which he completed in 2021.
