I-Shuen Wu is a highly skilled full-stack software engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and believes in the Medici effect, which emphasizes the importance of exploring diverse fields to foster innovation. In her dissertation project, I-Shuen used psychology theories on interface design and optimization techniques for sorting algorithms to solve tradeoff decisions on recommender of commercial applications. She is passionate about learning from experiences in various fields and believes it has a positive influence. Currently, I-Shuen works as a Solutions Engineer at a fintech startup where she developed Python, npm, and Java SDK packages and worked closely with global team members to assist HFT clients in utilizing API services. She also maintains the public market data platform, enabling users to download daily and monthly records. In the past, I-Shuen has worked as a Software Engineer at Rakuten, where she reconstructed a large-scale PHP application to a Java + AngularJS/ReactJS system in microservices architecture. She also played the role of a full-stack developer and a scrum master, leading the team to earn the highest story points in a sprint. At Sinyi Realty - Yowoo Tech, she designed MongoDB schema and developed RESTful APIs on node.js application that met project specifications and generated well-structured output for both mobile and web developers.
