Iana Andrychowicz is a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the software industry. She is currently seeking a part-time position in a remote-first company that prioritizes work-life balance and a family-friendly environment. In her current role as a Frontend Engineer at Rivero AG, Iana is responsible for designing and implementing complex user interfaces using technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, React + Redux, AngularJS, Webpack, and Jest. She has also spearheaded the upgrade of build and development tools across all front-end projects and co-led a Women in Tech group aimed at creating a supportive community of women in technical roles. Prior to her current role, Iana worked as a Software Engineer at Collective Health where she designed and implemented a micro-frontend architecture for the core platform of internal applications, drastically improving unit test coverage. She also designed and implemented a vast collection of framework-agnostic web components for the core platform and upgraded the build and development tools across all front-end projects. Additionally, she co-led a Women in Tech group and organized monthly member gatherings and company-wide events. Iana has also worked as a Software Engineer at Rooster Grin Media where she built a vanilla JS third-party widget for scheduling appointments at orthodontists’ offices and implemented an admin platform for onboarding, managing, and monitoring clients. She also automated all software integrations and deployments with CircleCI and created and managed A/B tests with Google Optimize and Google Analytics. Iana holds a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Warsaw and a Bachelor's degree in Polish Language and Literature from Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie. She also completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive program at Hack Reactor. Iana's technical skills include Frontend, Web, Software Engineering, Javascript, Redux, Ruby, and AngularJS.
