Ido Michael is an Analytics, AI, and ML Leader with more than 4 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Sr. Data Engineering Manager at Samsung, where he is leading multiple teams of up to 10 Engineers to deliver customer Data & Analytics systems native to AWS. He is also the US East coast Go-To-Market leader, aligning the sales organization with the field consultants to raise the technical bar and endorse Data & Analytics deliveries. Ido has managed Data and Analytics training workshops for hundreds of consultants and dozens of customers worldwide, and he owns multiple customer offerings to increase platform adoption and reduce delivery time and cost by 70%. Ido is a big believer in cloud technologies and Data & Analytics. He is helping customers and executives build data platforms to produce business insights while helping companies scale their data solutions to drive innovation. Ido has led multiple high-impact engineering teams during customer engagements, including a team of leaders to cover multiple workstreams, always results-driven and focused on the customer's needs. Ido is a Python native-speaker with countless hours of programming in Python, Java, C#, and Bash. He loves to create data pipelines, ML models, cloud-based systems, open-source programs, and API integration alongside his experience and passion for cloud and computer communication networks. Ido received his MSc in Computer Engineering from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, specializing in machine learning, virtual and augmented reality, and human-computer interaction. He received his BSc as a major in Computer Science and a minor in Interactive Media from the Interdisciplinary Center, specializing in software engineering, computer communication networks, and virtual reality. During his studies, Ido served as a graduate researcher at the Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Laboratory of Columbia University. He also served as a research assistant in the fields of computer networks and Deep learning.
