Ifthekar Ali Ahmed is a seasoned IT professional with over 19 years of experience in the industry. He is currently serving as a Senior Manager/Program Manager at Harman Connected Services' DTS group, where he manages multiple accounts and programs across geographies on IoT (Connected Home, Connected Factory) development. With 12+ years of comprehensive people/project/program/operations management experience, Ifthekar has successfully managed mobility shared services units with over 100 people for enterprise and consumer mobile (B2B, B2C, B2E) applications development. Ifthekar is an expert in mobility consulting for prospective clients, defining the GTM strategy, coordinating with other accounts and sales teams on mobility pre-sales, presentations & demos to prospective clients, resource management for mobility teams across the Global Business Unit, and team mentoring (mentoring Project Managers). He is responsible for team compensation, total rewards, career management, and actively involved in anchoring, participation, and technical defense across RFP/RFI responses. Ifthekar has worked on various projects, including developing smart home solutions, smart factory solutions, home security & automation products, Linux-based touch screen devices' UI/firmware development, digital video broadcasting, MPEG2, edge decoders, and set-top box middleware (EBIF), mobile phone (MMI, firmware, and layer 3 of the GSM/3G stack), and application development.
