Ileana Argyris is a Fullstack Developer with over 3 years of experience in web development and leadership. She has a strong passion for creating responsive websites that are visually appealing on any device. Ileana is a quick learner, which helps her to think on her feet, adapt, and find solutions to complex problems. She is an expert in using Google and Stack Overflow to find solutions to technical problems. During her college years, Ileana was an officer in several engineering societies. She was responsible for pitching to the student activities board for funds and organizing workshops for over 100 middle school students. Ileana also volunteered for the Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS) missions as mission support. These experiences have helped her to excel in collaborative teams, both in person and remotely. Currently, Ileana works as a Full-stack Developer at her own company. She collaborates with designers to create pixel-perfect websites and landing pages from mockups in Figma, Sketch, and Photoshop. She also customizes existing code in Ruby on Rails and creates new features using Ruby on Rails. Ileana has worked as a Frontend Developer in two past companies, where she developed responsive websites using modern HTML5 and CSS3 and created mobile versions of sites based on desktop designs. Ileana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She also has an Associate's degree in Computer Science from the University of the People and completed a Front-End Web Development course from Udacity.
