Imran Khan is an experienced Cloud Data Engineer/Architect with over 8 years of experience in ETL between on-prem and cloud platforms. Currently working as an Advisor, Data Engineering at Dell Technologies, he is responsible for architecting and data engineering on the Azure cloud platform. Imran has a strong technical background in cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Event-Hubs, Stream Analytics, Azure SQL, Delta Tables, and Databricks. He is proficient in query languages such as Scala-Spark and PySpark and programming languages like Scala and Python. Additionally, he has experience working with on-prem databases such as Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata, Greenplum, and SQL Server. Imran has worked on reporting tools such as PowerBI and Zeppelin and has a deep understanding of data engineering, SQL, Azure, Scala, Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, ETL, and Senior Software Engineering.
