Imran Pochi is a highly skilled software engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is currently working at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, specializing in all things Cloud Native, CKS, and CKA. Imran is passionate about helping clients focus on their products and businesses while he takes care of their development and deployment concerns. Imran is a self-motivated individual who thrives in improving beyond his comfort level to have new and fulfilling challenges at work. He is known for being the guy that gets the job done, even in situations where he has little to no experience in coping with what is required from him. Imran has an impressive track record of developing APIs in Golang for a client that caters to the needs of gamers, a messaging app for clan recruitment. He has also created a Golang application using cobra cli framework to help a client benchmark the performance of their product. Imran has dived into automation testing for a client, a container native storage provider, and has become competent in writing storage tests, integration tests in Golang using gomock and ginkgo. He has also contributed to the "libopenstorage" project by writing integration tests, unit tests, and gRPC APIs for SDK. Imran's previous experience was primarily in Flex PLM application development, where he helped clients tweak and modify the product as per their requirement and business needs. The work centered around using Java, JSP Servlets. He was good at it and got awards to show for it at Accenture as well as ITC Infotech. However, the desire to explore beyond his comfort level led him to a new environment, new technologies, into the world of containers, Kubernetes, and Golang. Imran has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from Lovely Professional University, where he graduated in 2014. His tech stack includes Golang, Kubernetes, Integration, Redis, Docker, MongoDB, Jenkins, infra, and Java.
