He has over 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Research and Data Science. Indradumna's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology with a focus on prototyping medical devices from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Machine Automation from Tampere University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur. He has worked with algorithms that deal with signals or images and extract meaningful information from such data using advanced tools such as computer vision using deep learning, statistical analysis, sensor fusion, and distributed computing. Indradumna has also worked on developing mechatronic systems, computer vision algorithms, and computational fluid dynamics simulations. Currently, Indradumna is working as a Principal Data Scientist at Oracle, where he is building intelligent features on the customer data platform Oracle Unity. This platform combines customer data from online, offline, and third-party sources to create a single, dynamic, real-time view of each customer. In the past, Indradumna has worked as a Principal Investigator and Machine Learning Lead for a unique industry-academic collaborative effort funded by NPRP, Qatar, for remaining lifetime estimation of Electrical Equipment. He has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fraunhofer Project Center at Dublin City University, where he researched solutions towards mass scalability and automation in manufacturing processes for microfluidic devices.
