Indrajit Rajtilak is a Machine Learning Engineer with over 6 years of experience in applied machine learning, web development, DevOps, and product management. He is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer, Perception at Embark Trucks, an Autonomous Vehicle startup focused on bringing self-driving trucks to market. Indrajit is a passionate technologist who believes in working hard, learning fast, and getting the right things done. At Embark Trucks, Indrajit works on the Deep Learning sub-team of the Perception organization. He focuses on training neural networks for perception and building data pipelines and python APIs for MLOps. He has trained a deep neural network for lidar semantic segmentation using Tensorflow and built data pipelines for extraction, storage, and indexing labeled data and Python APIs for querying and curation of datasets using Python, Kubernetes, SQL, and ROS. Prior to Embark Trucks, Indrajit worked at Springboard as a Lead Product Manager, Data Platform & Outcomes and Lead Software Engineer. At Springboard, he led the Product team of 3 PMs, 2 specialists, and one analyst, and developed and executed the Springboard Data Platform and Outcomes strategy. He also led a team of 12 engineers and served as interim CTO for 6 months. He modernized deployment systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform, and led the migration from AWS to GCP. He also built a GraphQL API layer which resulted in 2x faster performance, and speeding up development time. Indrajit has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from SRM University and has completed several online courses in Machine Learning, Product Management, and Data Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, Udacity, and University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
