Currently working from home, Ionut has previously worked as a Software Developer C++ at Thales, where he was responsible for building a module that connects all the elements that can appear on the train line, such as automatic barriers and light signals. He also migrated the code from standard C++ 98 to the standard C++ 14 and performed unit tests with g-mock and g-test frameworks. Ionut worked with agile SCRUM methodology, Linux OS (OpenSuse, CentOS 7), and Continuous Integration using Jenkins. Before that, Ionut worked as a Software Developer C++/C# at Graitec, where he built a plugin for Advance Steel, an Autodesk 3D modeling software for CAD steel detailing. He was responsible for the engine that powers the whole module and worked on software design and implementation at the core level. Ionut also did GUI programming in the .NET ecosystem, specifically in a tech stack based on C#/WPF.
