Irfan Alam is a highly experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) with over 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working at Amazon as an SDE in Consumer Payments, where he is involved in developing next-generation payment software systems. Irfan has a strong technical background and is proficient in a variety of technologies, including BigData, Hbase, Kafka, Microservices, VSAN, Desktop-as-a-Service, Java, and more. Irfan has a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and has been recognized for his achievements. He has won the Arista Bangalore Hack-a-switch competition twice and has actively filed IDFs and papers. He has also contributed to the Virtual SAN releases of VMware. In his current role, Irfan is responsible for scaling CVP to be run as a cloud service.
