Irfan Wadia is a Senior Engineering Manager at PayNearMe with over 8 years of relevant experience in designing and developing highly scalable and robust systems. He has a metric-oriented approach and believes in automating as much as possible to increase team productivity. He leads and manages a team of 10 highly skilled developers and has experience working with AGILE and XP methodologies for software development. Irfan's areas of interest include analytics, alerting systems, software design and development, data structures and algorithms, networking and API monitoring, database designing, web designing, cloud configuration, and server deployment. He has experience working over the stack and developer operations, designing and developing web and mobile apps, writing REST APIs, scripting and automated deployment, writing automated unit testing scripts, and benchmarking server performance. Irfan is also experienced in maintaining cloud infrastructure using AWS, implementing A/B testing, and Google Analytics. He has great experience with web development using Ruby (ROR) and the Python stack. He has worked with BrowserStack in the past as an Engineering Manager and Team Lead and is currently part of the Growth team at PayNearMe. Irfan holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science (AITS).
