Isaac Campbell is an Associate Infrastructure Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the field of infrastructure and site reliability engineering. He is a detail-oriented and performance-driven professional who has a proven track record of leading, establishing, and developing DevOps practices within cloud-based organizations. Isaac is keenly focused on automation efforts to lower human error potential and simplify and streamline data collection efforts. He is a site reliability engineer focused on delivering impactful infrastructure optimization, improved processes, and efficient workflows. Currently, Isaac is working with Amount as an Associate Infrastructure Engineer, where he is responsible for provisioning and modifying AWS resources via Terraform. Isaac has defined multiple SLOs that help ensure 99.99% uptime for applications. In his previous role as a Site Reliability Engineer at Amount, Isaac maintained a high standard for infrastructure, pipelines, and performed code reviews to ensure high performance and ensure process revitalizations and improvements over time. He led an internal project to find and eliminate unused infrastructure, saving a projected +$25K per year. Isaac has also worked closely with Information Security to provide evidence for external assessments such as NIST CSF, PCI, CCM, and SOC2 through providing evidence, assisting with control evaluations, and SME insight. Isaac has collaborated with key stakeholders across the organization, such as Data, Product, Information Security, and more teams to establish, meet, and execute on requirements of the business. He has also developed, trained, and mentored team members to accelerate growth and learning and encourage the acquisition of new skills and technical capabilities of the team. Isaac has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa, where he also completed a certificate in Global Health and Humanitarian Assistance.
