Ishaan Lodha is a highly skilled and motivated software engineer and data scientist with a strong background in computer science and big data systems. Currently interning at Hudson River Trading, he has evaluated TSDBs for the firm's Prometheus system, developed a tool to ensure rules and alerts in Grafana were based on accurate metrics, and implemented a stress-test suite to benchmark complex time series architectures and models. Prior to this, Ishaan worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Data Science and Engineering (IDEaS) at Georgia Institute of Technology, where he aggregated and modeled clinical and survey data collected for Arthrogryposis in compliance with respective privacy laws like HIPAA and GDPR. He also developed a HL7 FHIR compliant distributed data warehouse based on the data models to comply with residency laws and allow quick integration with multiple EHR systems. In addition, Ishaan has experience working as a software engineer at Cisco, where he enhanced Webex's B2BUA to make it cloud ready by containerizing the C/C++ service, adding Kubernetes based auto scaling at the service level, and using Beats to reduce resource usage in ELK based log processing pipeline. He also developed monolithic signaling and media units into independent containers employing gRPC to enable selective scaling of components. Ishaan holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is currently pursuing his studies, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from PES University. He also completed his ISC/ICSE from St. James' School (Kolkata). With a strong technical background in technologies such as Kubernetes, C++, and deep learning, Ishaan is seeking full-time software and quantitative opportunities to further develop his skills and make meaningful contributions to the field.
