Ishan Doshi is a seasoned lead engineer with over a decade of experience in software development. He is currently leading multiple projects in Fraud Detection/Prevention System at Grab, where he is responsible for optimizing and scaling the systems while making the platform feature-rich for various use cases. Ishan has a strong background in designing scalable systems, RESTful APIs, project management, and more. He is proficient in several programming languages, including Golang, Python, Core Java, SQL, Redis, and REST, among others. He is also experienced in distributed systems, OOPS, Postgres, MySQL, and Aerospike. Prior to his current role, Ishan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Grab and a Project Lead at The D. E. Shaw Group. At The D. E. Shaw Group, he was a core member of the Risk development team, where he contributed to several projects, including building, refactoring, and optimizing the infrastructure that does automated financial risk assessment on huge data sets. He was also a member of the core team that was involved in redesigning the Risk platform, which aimed at solving data duplication, data inconsistency, and auditability issues. Ishan holds a B.tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli and has completed his Class XII and Class X from Dreamland School.
