Ishita Sen is a skilled Data Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a natural intuition for figures and numbers. With almost 6 years of relevant experience, Ishita has developed expertise in extracting, transforming, collating, and storing data in various systems. She started her career as an ETL Developer and spent 3.5 years mastering the quirks of data, picking up concepts on Data Warehousing and Modelling, as well as several ETL and Reporting tools like Informatica, SSIS, and Power BI. Ishita has also ventured into the world of cloud with AWS and Python, and after an engaging couple of years in the Data Engineer role, she has recently enrolled herself for a post-grad degree in Data Science. Despite juggling work and studies, Ishita is always willing to go the extra mile with the work at hand and be a staunch perfectionist, even with the smallest of tasks. Working in the Asset Management Domain, Ishita has also developed an interest in knowing the workings behind those fancy Wall-Street words and has a certification on Institutional Investment issued by LOMA under her belt. She takes accountability, responsibility, and leads the way up to the finish line, making her the go-to person for anyone who needs someone to count on. Apart from her technical skills, Ishita is also an avid reader and has a knack for communication and interpersonal skills. Her head is home to a hundred wriggling ideas that she puts into action while solving the most complex of problems. She is always up for a conversation about data or books or both. Ishita is currently working as a Data Engineer at Skillshare and has previously worked at Principal Global Services as a Technology Lead and Senior Data Analyst. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Computer Science from RCC Institute of Information Technology and a Higher Secondary Degree in General Sciences from Loreto Day School Bowbazar. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University and has completed an Executive Post Graduate Program in Data Science from IIIT Bangalore.
