Ivo Dimitrov is a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with over 12 years of experience in software testing and development. With a passion for improving quality and shipping high-reliability products, he has an in-depth understanding of software testing processes and techniques. He enjoys picking software apart and seeing where he can find flaws, and is always up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Ivo is a logical problem solver with a keen attention to detail, and is always willing to document and share his knowledge and learning from others. He is a goal-oriented, productive, and creative person with good communication skills, and is always looking for ways to implement improvements and develop processes and practices to make it more effective and enjoyable. Currently working at dext, Ivo collaborates with developers and product owners, contributes to planning and design, reviews product code, and formulates test scenarios. He develops test automation frameworks, automates test scenarios using the frameworks, and sets up the infrastructure to run tests in CI/CD. In the past, Ivo has worked at ec4u expert consulting ag and tide as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, where he actively participated in the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks and test suites, implemented and maintained test pipelines, and established and implemented test automation standards and guidelines. He has also designed, developed, and implemented both manual and automated robust tests for newly developed features, increasing test coverage and shortening the software development life cycle. Ivo holds a Master's degree in Marketing from the University of National and World Economy and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from the Technical University Sofia. He has also completed various courses in automation quality assurance engineering, compliance training, and agile certified practitioner.
