Jackson Dickson is an experienced Engineering Manager at HERE with a passion for technology, designing and building software systems, and solving problems. With over 18 years of relevant experience, he enjoys ideation and realizing them using technology, and is passionate about his work and team. Currently, Jackson is leading engineering teams responsible for evaluating map data quality and real-time evaluation using Apache Flink and Kafka, integrated with the HERE platform, as well as tooling for 3D and 2D HD map visualization and annotations on LiDAR and satellite images. Prior to HERE, Jackson worked as a Product Architect/Engineering Manager at Digitate, where he was responsible for designing and building the event management and self-healing features of the ignioTM AIOPS product. He also contributed to the SaaS offering for the product, maintained and governed architecture, and mentored and groomed team members. Jackson's experience at Digitate also included integration with AI/ML algorithms, third-party integration, and notification systems, as well as building a system for high throughput event detection from logs and metrics. Before joining Digitate, Jackson worked as a Technical Architect at TCS, where he was involved in solutioning and design of various transformation programs for a major North American bank. He also managed development and QA teams, interacted with business users and stakeholders, and translated business requirements into functional design and development of enterprise systems. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai, which he earned in 2003. His tech stack includes senior software engineering, AI, Kafka, integration, ML, Neo4j, Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Azure, AngularJS, and QA.
