Jai Bhagat is a highly skilled full-stack software engineer with a focus on solving complex problems in the healthcare industry. With 4.45 years of experience, Jai has developed a strong expertise in React, GraphQL, TypeScript, Node, and Postgres. Currently working at Hashicorp as a Software Engineer on the Nomad team, Jai is responsible for deploying and managing containers and non-containerized applications across on-prem and clouds at scale. Prior to joining Hashicorp, Jai worked at Healthverity as a Fullstack Software Engineer where he was responsible for empowering clients with highly rewarding data discovery and licensing tools, managing billions of healthcare records from a wide variety of partners, standardizing on common data models across data types, and building an industry-leading HIPAA privacy layer. He also worked at Cityblock Health as a Fullstack Software Engineer where he helped bring better care to neighborhoods where it's needed most. Jai holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Apart from his work, Jai is passionate about boxing and volunteering for non-profits like Pencils of Promise and Court Watch NYC. He is also currently learning Hindi and Gujarati. Jai's technical expertise includes SQL, Python, AWS, Javascript, Spark, Django, Redux, and Data Science. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and is open to connecting with fellow Cityblock, UConn Huskies, and INROADS students/alumni.
