Jai Prakash is a highly experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Apple with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a skilled professional with expertise in designing and developing localization algorithms for augmented reality experiences. Jai has worked on 2D image/3D object detection and tracking algorithms for ARKit, and has also contributed to Apple Maps visual localization for ARKit. Prior to joining Apple, Jai worked as an Augmented Reality Development Intern at Samsung, where he developed an augmented reality headset prototype using the GearVR headset. He also integrated PrimeSense depth sensors to phones for depth perception and implemented stereoscopic views for left and right eye display.
