Jai Shukla is a Research Assistant at nanobiosensors and biodevices lab, School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur. He is a highly motivated individual with a passion for developing biomedical devices that can make a positive impact on society. Jai's main focus is on developing TH!NGS that matter in improving the world. He has been working on various projects such as improving transportation to prevent food loss, developing a platform to help students reach out to teachers in a more accessible manner, a wearable women safety device, modification on a harvester to prevent stubble cutting, and a slate that is as good as a notebook and a tablet to prevent cutting of trees. Jai's pursuit of addressing these issues has helped him improve his observational skills, analyze every minute detail, reach a conclusion and based on the results, create a product. He has attended the Clinton Global Initiative University Meeting 2018 to present the ideas of solutions for food wastage in transportation and has been the winner in Prakrati 2018 IIT Kharagpur and finalist in GES IIT Kharagpur 2018 product development competitions. Jai has a Master's degree in Chemistry from IIT, where he also worked as a Student Researcher at the functional material and electrochemistry lab. He has also worked as a Summer Intern under Dr. Gorachand Dutta, School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur. Jai's education history also includes completing his CBSE board, up to class 12, from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Jai's tech stack includes being a Research Scientist, Product Designer, and Designer. He has 1.78 years of relevant experience in the field. Jai's diverse experience and education have equipped him with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop innovative biomedical devices that can make a positive impact on society.
