Jaimin Shimpi is a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University with a passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence. He has a strong technical background in database and machine learning and is proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, R, Python, and C#. He also has experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, React, and Node.js, and has worked with databases such as SQL and Oracle. Jaimin has experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and is familiar with tools like Eclipse IDE, Git, JIRA, FIGMA, Adobe Suite, Blender, and Unity. Jaimin has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena, where he worked on projects related to optimizing crop farming through sustainable practices in Africa and building an AI model to detect forest fires using sensory data analysis. He was responsible for analyzing sensor data and testing possible systemic data models to develop an intelligent recognition algorithm to detect fire of different types of wood. He also worked with a team of 50 collaborators spread across the world to solve challenging tasks given by Dryad, an environmental IoT startup based in Berlin-Brandenburg. Jaimin is a graduate student at Purdue University, pursuing a Master of Science in Computer and Information Technology with a focus on Blockchain Data Science and Interactive Computing. He has also completed his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidhayalaya. Jaimin is a responsible and committed engineer with a get-it-done, on-time, and high-quality product spirit. He has experience defining requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and delivering complex back-end and web applications using various programming languages and technologies. Jaimin is a research scientist with a keen interest in computer vision and web development.
