Jaivish Kothari is a highly skilled and experienced Python/GoLang Developer with a passion for working on distributed systems. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Jaivish has a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies and containers. He is a major contributor to the Openstack project and an active contributor to the Python community. Currently, Jaivish is working as a Senior Software Developer at NEC Technologies India, where he is responsible for developing a device-level object storage solution (OSD) using Python and Linux. He is also involved in integrating NEC's object storage with OpenStack components and building and packaging RHEL packages. Prior to his current role, Jaivish worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard R&D Labs, where he worked on hybrid cloud solutions that span AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and on-premise cloud technologies. He also developed a Go-based API gateway for the product, worked with Kubernetes, Helm, Kubernetes Service-Catalog, Open-ServiceBroker API, and managed public cloud providers. Jaivish has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, and he completed his high school education at M.P.S. Jaivish's technical skills include Kubernetes, Python, Docker, AWS, Golang, Search, Azure, Integration, Elastic Search, and more. He is an open-source developer in one word and has been involved in reviewing code, blueprint/feature level contributions, designing, and bug resolution in the open-source community.
