Jake Fox is an experienced Recruiter currently working at Retool. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Jake has honed his skills in candidate experience, transparency, collaboration, efficiency, and work/life balance. Jake has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including Plaid and Expanse. At Plaid, Jake served as a Senior Recruiter and was responsible for recruiting for People, Finance, Legal, Comms, CorpDev, Risk, Policy, and Financial Access. During his time at Plaid, Jake played a critical role in scaling the company from around 200 to over 1,000 employees globally. At Expanse, Jake was the first Sales Recruiter focused on leadership, enterprise, inside, federal, sales engineers, and sales operations. He built the Atlanta office from the ground up and was instrumental in the company's acquisition in December 2020. Jake is a connector at heart and loves to help people find their dream job within his company or introduce them to someone he knows at their dream company. He places a high value on candidate experience and believes in transparency and collaboration throughout the recruitment process. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. Despite his name being misleading, Jake is not a man and has a sick sense of humor, as his parents named him Jake just like a guy's name.
