James Ardery is a Software Engineer currently working at Mercury Analytics. With a creative background in live music and event production, he is passionate about finding the connection between his past experiences and his future in software engineering and computer programming. James is a people person who loves working on group projects and strives to make his project partners and coworkers feel comfortable while working towards a common goal. Prior to his current role, James worked as the General Manager at Hart's Brooklyn and Cervo's NYC Restaurant Group. He also has experience working as an Executive Assistant and Talent Buyer at Boom Collective, a concert promotion and venue management agency. Additionally, James co-founded Cropped Out Music Festival, an annual music festival and event production company, where he managed a team of 25 across box office, artist hospitality, security, and sound production services. He organized sponsorships with local businesses and non-profit organizations to facilitate festival production and also presented showcases at SXSW, Northside, and CMJ music festivals. James holds a Software Engineer Immersive degree from Flatiron School, which he completed in 2021. He also attended Louisville Collegiate School from 1989 to 2003. His tech stack includes Ruby, SQL, Javascript, and Redux, and he has over 13 years of relevant experience in the industry.
