Over the years, he has evolved into integrating micro-services written in a variety of frameworks and environments. James has developed high-availability systems supporting vehicle tracking communications at Calamp and implemented complex workflow routing in large claim processing at Ankura. He has experience implementing Agile methodologies in sophisticated software development projects and enjoys working on fast-paced, highly visible projects. Currently, James works as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where he is building the Netflix Studio Orion Project. Orion is a constellation of micro-service architecture powering the data used worldwide to plan and create films by teams such as content, legal, marketing, and publicity. Previously, he worked as a Software Engineer at Ankura and Akamai, where he developed workflow systems for claims management for large litigation cases and network management systems for government agencies, respectively. James holds a BS & MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
