James Luong is a highly skilled software engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer III at Google, specifically on the Google Cloud Access Transparency Team. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing security and privacy solutions for GCP. Before joining Google, James worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer. During his time there, he was responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure and workflows for licensing and activation of Microsoft's newest operating systems and editions. He also mentored junior engineers and interns and represented and guided a team of 120+ engineers within the Core OS organization.
